WYEC2 Software

A second generation of hourly weather files for energy calculations, WYEC2 represents a significant improvement over the original set of WYEC (weather year for energy calculations) files developed by ASHRAE more than 25 years ago. The software is available on CD from ASHRAE (404-636-8400) or it may be purchased and downloaded now from this site, ASHRAE Document Download. In either case the software includes the WYEC2 hourly weather files along with a Users Manual and Toolkit to aid in their use and application. The WYEC2 files contain data on 77 U.S. and Canadian cities.

To install and use the associated software you will need a DOS-compatible computer and at least 102 MB of free hard disk space.
