This chapter and the accompanying data provide the climatic design information for 5564 locations in the United States, Canada, and around the world. This is an increase of 1142 stations from the 2005
ASHRAE Handbook:Fundamentals. The large number of stations, along with the addition of several new table elements, made printing the whole tables impractical. Consequently, the complete table of design conditions for only Atlanta, GA, appears in the main body of the chapter to illustrate the table format. However, a subset of the table elements most often used is presented in the Appendix at the end of this chapter for selected stations representing major urban centers in the United States, Canada, and around the world. The complete data tables for all 5564 stations are contained in the accompanying PDFs.
Chapter 14, Climatic Design Information, of the 2009 ASHRAE
Handbook:Fundamentals includes detailed weather data tables for 5564 locations around the world.
A separate document containing a link to the 66 MB zip file is included with your purchase. Inside of the zip file are climate data files in PDF format for personal use only and are not licensed for posting on networks or incorporating into commercial software.
