IAQ Applications: Unvented Combustion

ASHRAE recently published a position document titled Unvented Combustion Devices and Indoor Air Quality. In the last several years, unvented combustion has garnered increasing attention and controversy. Critics argue that any release of combustion products into the occupied space may be harmful. This document reviews the current state of knowledge regarding unvented combustion devices and provides a number of recommendations
