CIBSE -- Noise and Vibration Control - Guide B5

This new Sound Guide B5 (which replaces section B12 of the 1986 edition of Guide B) provides new, comprehensive guidance on the identification and prediction of sources of noise and vibration in HVAC systems whilst offering innovative, practical methods to control, reduce or eliminate the main culprits.

The Guide deals with aspects such as room sound levels (including noise control in plant rooms), the transmission of noise to and from the outside, techniques to control noise transmission in ducts, the art of noise prediction, the identification and control of vibration and airflow noise.
