TO-82-09-3 -- Performance of a Residential Off-Peak Electric Heating and Cooling Storage System with Solar Input
This paper describes the results of the demonstration project during the period March through May 1980. The purpose of the demonstration project was to test the performance of the off-peak storage heating and cooling system. The demonstration test was conducted in a residence in a testing mode, reflecting operation under a particular household living condition. As such, the demands on the system were relatively uncontrolled, responding to varying weather conditions and household living patterns. Such a test reflects some of the diversity in demand heating systems experience. However, such a test lacks the control available in a laboratory experiment.Citation: ASHRAE Transactions, Volume 88, Part 2, Toronto, Canada
