TO-82-01-1 -- Combustion of Wood
Thermochemistry of wood and various combustion mechanisms are described as bases for energy conversion and pollutant generation. Principal design variables and their effects upon practical firing designs are quantified. Various losses are described as factors in momentary and seasonal boiler efficiency. Operational aspects are discussed as a major factor in overall fuel economy and emission control.Citation: ASHRAE Transactions, Volume 88, Part 2, Toronto, Canada
