CH-81-13-2 -- Reduced Load Dynamics in Steam Heat Exchangers
This paper presents the results of research in the dynamics of steam condensate systems, and the interrelationship between load control and the condensate return system. Four methods of load control are developed which control the load without adding air into the condensate return system at reduced load conditions. Conclusions are presented which discuss the application of these methods and the development of possible ideal load control systems.Citation: ASHRAE Transactions, Volume 87, Part 1, Chicago, Illinois
