PH-79-07-2 -- Data Acquisition and Instrumentation for Energy Studies of Remote Sites

The objectives of the project involved collecting, processing and storing 400 items of data every 15 minutes for approximately one continuous year from nine remote, site residences. High reliability and prompt identification of malfunctions were considered important requirements to minimize lost data since data were functions of local irreproducible weather conditions.
