The usual focus of indoor air quality has been emission sources emanating from within the building. However, another critical aspect of indoor air quality is external emission sources that may be reintroduced into the building through closed-circuiting betweennearby exhaust stacks and a buildings air intakes. External sourcesmay be associated with the building or nearby sources such as alaboratory, restaurant, central plant, loading dock, etc.
