Sustainability and the 2006 Olympics

By the time Torino, Italy, had become a candidate for the 2006 XX Winter Olympic Games, the Torino 2006 Organizing Committee had already submitted a document entitled Green Card. This document contained concrete guidance for designing and construction the Torino sports facilities and infrastructures and handling the affected environment.
