Variable FlowA Control Engineers Perspective
For more than ten years, trade journals have been flooded with interesting articles discussing problems with and solutions for variable flow air and water systems. Many issues are encompassed: how to control the related variable speed drives; where to locate the differential pressure (DP) control sensor; and whether or not to use balancing valves. The best control solutions require a good knowledge of all three issues.Citation: ASHRAE Journal, Vol. 41, No. 1, January 1999
