ANSI/IES 501-2006

This recommended practice describes installation procedures for lighting systems commonly used in outdoor applications on and near commercial, institutional, industrial and storage buildings. Topics covered include, but not limited to, pole mounted and wall mounted luminaires, bollards, above ground and in-ground flood and spot lights, step lights and other lights recessed into exterior walls and other concrete surfaces, canopy and soffit mounted surface lights and landscape lighting.
