This Practice describes the criteria for designing and selecting pipe supports for aboveground metallic piping systems in accordance with ASME B31.3. This Practice is limited to temperature ranges of 427C (800F) and less, and shall not be used for cryogenic service (i.e., temperature less than -101C (150F)).
