This Practice provides the requirements for manufacturing valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries. This Practice describes the design, inspection, testing, shipment, and documentation for VRLA batteries for application in electrical stations or uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) in indoor, nonclassified areas.
