These strategiesinclude:integrating drinking water scenarios into existing exercises that the installation isrequired to perform;developing strong justifications for adding stand-alone drinking water exercises;using subject matter experts to help develop, conduct, and assess more complex drinkingwater scenarios; and, participating in drinking water exercises with off-base organizations.HQ ACC is using these strategies to help their installations improve their ability to prepare for, respond to, and mitigate the effects of emergencies affecting the water system.
