This standard applies to a solvent for use with vinyl pretreatment coatings conforming to CAN/CGSB-1.213.

The solvent is intended primarily for cleaning equipment used in applying vinyl pretreatment coatings.

The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
