This method is used to evaluate by comparison the performance of water emulsion waxes (CAN/CGSB-25.3), detergent-resistant polishes (CAN/CGSB-25.21), and burnishable detergent-resistant polishes (CAN/CGSB-25.24), against standard reference materials, in terms of gloss, levelling, discolouration, traffic marking, dirt retention, slip resistance, ease of removal and, where applicable, buffability, detergent resistance and burnishing response.
