Full Description

This standard applies to hot melt adhesives for use on perfect binding equipment.

Hot melt adhesives consist of resins and/or waxes which must be liquified by heat to produce adhesion. Liquification temperatures are generally in the 150 to 190C range.

The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
