Full Description

This method describes a scale to be used in assessing the extent of transference of colour.

Evaluation made with the Chromatic Transference Scale should give essentially the same ratings as evaluations made with the Grey Scale for Evaluation of Staining CAN/CGSB-4.2 No. 47-M/ISO 105-A03) and may facilitate staining assessments for the less experienced technicians.

This method should not be used for very critical evaluations or cases of arbitration; the Grey Scale must be used in these cases.
