This standard applies to packaged sterile or non-sterile, powdered or powderless single use medical examination gloves, regardless of material of manufacture.

This standard provides for gloves that fit either hand, paired gloves and gloves by size.

The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
