Full Description

This standard applies to flat rigid plastic sheeting intended to provide a safe type glazing material in building construction. It shall be manufactured to prevent or reduce the likelihood of injury to persons by plastic fragments when the plastic is cracked or broken by accidental human impact or by objects from the exterior.

The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
