DE-2544 -- Finned Tube Heat Exchanger: Correlation of Dry Surface Heat Transfer Data

Finned tube heat exchangers are widely used in industry and, in particular, in the area of heating, cooling and air conditioning. Heat transfer data of tube banks with circular tubes and circular or continuous flat plate fins are used to develop an empirical technique to predict the variation of the average he~t transfer J-factor with the air side Reynolds number.
